LOOK MAGAZINE INTERVIEW

Last week LOOK magazine asked me to do a special interview and article about my blog, featuring three diferent looks that represent or define my personal style. I loved the idea and decided to create three completely different looks for this fun spread, first a casual but edgy combo, with ripped boyfriend jeans, a cool tee, with my stunning JULIO blazer for a bold mix of prints , then a super feminine ensemble, with a tulle skirt and a denim shirt to contrast the girly dressy skirt with a more casual and simple shirt and finally a slick and bit sexier look with bold dark lips, a printed blouse and a fitted tube skirt. Here you can se the complete article, the photos from the magazine spread, along with my interview and an awesome behind the scenes video from the shooting day!

MAKE ME BLUSH

Pink is one of the hottest colors of the season, this winter we’ve seen pink shine in all of it’s glory, weather in a hot pink or pale pastel tone, this super feminine hue has definitely left its mark during this cold season. And I’m loving it, I think it’s great to be able to wear light tones during winter for a change, even though we all love black and grey, because they are the easiest tones to mix and match, without worrying if you’ll look out of season, but it’s finally time for a change, thank God, cause winter doesn’t exactly has to mean boring dark clothes anymore.

I wore this neutral look on a cold december day, mixing blush and white tones to get a cute matchy matchy outfit, by pairing my polka dot sweater with white shirt and pants, then added my oversized pink coat, to keep the pale color palette. I love pale pinks, they always look so pretty and every time I wear this tones I feel like such a girly girl, which isn't exaclty my favorite style, but I do like to look sweetie every once in a while!

Blush pea coat & white denim pants - Zara / Polka dot sweater - Sfera / White button shirt - H&M / Grey stone & crystal necklace - Call Us Whatever / White watch - Michael Kors / Nude 2jours tote - Fendi / Silver ankle strap pumps - Steve Madden.

Happy Weekend!!

Andrea

BEHIND THE SCENES

I’ve been working on a new TV project over the past months, and even though I’m not at liberty to disclose much information yet, I wanted to share some details with you, and why not, a few pics from one of our latest filming location, where we shot the last capsule. All I can say by now, is that it definitely involves fashion and that it has me in it, but don’t worry it won’t be long till you learn all about it, and finally get to see it by yourselves, I’ll let you know as soon as the first episode airs. Till then enjoy this photos of my look of the day and some more from behind the scenes of filming set, which is actually a local boutique, called Mon Amour, which carries the most amazing evening gowns. For this casual day, I wore a simple boho look, made by a basic pair of jeans, with an oversized army shirt and my suede lace up booties, then completed it with some fun accessories, a cool fringed bag and a flopy hat to make the boho statement.

Cargo shirt -  Zara / Skinny jeans - Guess / Green stone necklace - Lily Bizet / Golden watch - Michael Kors / Floppy hat - Saks 5th Av. / Fringed bucket bag - Mango / Lace up booties - BCBG MaxAzria.

Have a good day!

SHADES OF PLUM

This is my first post of the year, and even though it was supposed to come up a few days ago, I’m happy that It is finally up, sorry that it took me a week to post it, but I had a lot going on during the holiday season, that I eventually got behind on my posts. Anyway, I’m ready to start 2014 with the right foot, by sharing this cool vampy look, as my first style post of the year, I wore this sexy combo a while back, when the weather was not crazy cold as it is now, and it was bearable to walk out bare legged.

I love mixing feminine skirts with bulky sweaters to create a fun style contrast, so this time I decided to wear one of my favorite vintage skirts, paired it up with a plum of the shoulders sweater and matched it with my new pointy cutout booties. Then I put on my new Pai Pai deep plum lipstick, pushed my messy hair to a side and grabbed my beloved Pashli satchel to complete this sultry dark look.

Off the shoulders plum sweater - Express / Wrap mini skirt -Vintage / Black leather Watch - Karl Lagerfeld / Cutout  burgundy booties - Steve Madden / Black Pashli satchel - Phillip Lim / LIpstick “Luz de Bengala” - pai pai.

 Happy New Year,
I wissh you the best for this 2014!!

Andrea
